Team Leader – Strategy & Continuous Improvement
- Location: Port Adelaide Enfield
- Classification: MOA Level 7
- Salary: $124,098 - $131,904 (plus Super). Remuneration may be negotiated with the preferred candidate commensurate with experience and qualifications.
This is a permanent fulltime position.
As Team Leader Strategy & Continuous Improvement, you’ll lead a high-value team to deliver Council’s strategic frameworks and service review programs. You’ll provide expert advice to senior leaders and elected members, ensuring decisions are informed by robust data and aligned with community priorities. What You’ll Do
- Lead the development and integration of strategic management and performance frameworks.
- Effectively communicate Council’s strategic objectives across the organisation, ensuring clarity and engagement so that staff embrace and actively support these strategies.
- Embed across Council operations a full integrated Strategic Management Framework.
- Oversee corporate planning and legislative reporting, including the Annual Business Plan and Strategic Plans.
- Drive continuous improvement through data-driven service reviews and cross-functional projects.
- Provide strategic insights and advice to influence organisational priorities.
- Empower and develop your team to deliver outstanding outcomes.
What We’re Looking For
- An excellent communicator with exceptional interpersonal skills and keen political acumen, adept at building relationships and influencing stakeholders in complex organisational settings.
- A strategic thinker with proven leadership experience and a passion for innovation.
- Strong background in strategic planning, performance reporting, and organisational improvement.
- Ability to translate strategic objectives into actionable team plans and ensure alignment across functions.
- Understanding of government operations, legislation and strategic frameworks .
- Tertiary qualifications in public policy, business management, or related fields (or equivalent experience).
